this print is an ode to the homes we create. to our infiniteness like earth itself. we are varied, traveled, tender, rooted, evergrowing, shapeshifting, lush, blossoming, evermoving. i hope to uplift the many ways we-and our ancestors before//with us- cultivate reverent relationships with earth and home: a rooted and humbling pillar of jewishness, even when we have been so cyclically uprooted ourselves.
it's hard but necessary to unearth, share, & heal together. to truly let ourselves feel each stolen moment after exile, each violent betrayal, each loss of motherland. i honor not only of the loss of life, land, and belonging. but also the beauty of diaspora. the remembrance of lands & plants that long for us. the resilience & transformation that comes from witnessing every emotion of loss & lineage, and re//membering the mountains and oceans that bridge us together.
may we bloom borderless, liberated, compassionate, & healing worlds of belonging into existence.
